About Me

Hi, my name is Dohyun Kim (김도현 in Korean and 金度賢 in Chinese character), a 4th-year Ph.D. student in Department of Mathematical Sciences at Seoul National University, under the supervision of Prof. Seung-Yeal Ha. My research interests in general lie on the emergent behaviors (e.g., synchronization, flocking and aggregation, etc.) of the many-body system, for instance, the Cucker-Smale model, the Kuramoto model and particle swarm model on Riemannian manifold. In particular, I am interested in analytic and numerical study of the quantum synchronization which can be described by the nonlinear Schrödinger-type equations or other equations arising in quantum mechanics.
